About me
Raio is a musician, producer, ceremonialist, and DJ who’s been uplifting the tribe in Bali for the last 18 years. A devotee of movement and dance as transformational practices, he plays organic-electro live dance music sets and DJ’s ecstatic dance. He also leads sacred cacao ceremonies, medicine music concerts, and sound healing journeys, and produces music in a riverside jungle studio outside Ubud.
He’ll be playing a hybrid DJ-live set at the festival along with his soul brother Holloway on vocals. The confluence of their energies creates a truly ecstatic dance experience, with Holloway’s transcendent vocals soaring above Raio’s tribal rhythms.
Along with his wife Sophie Sofree, he’s the co-founder of Wakamaia School of Sacred Fun, where they share the art of Ecstatic Dance DJ’ing, sound healing, and more.
Dedicated to presenting earth-reverent projects that heal and unite, Raio is also co-founder of an eco-community as well as Colibri Spirit Festival and BaliSpirit Festival.
