About me
Quarina’s journey with yoga began quietly in 2008, when she stumbled into a class during a hectic season of life in Jakarta. Back then, yoga felt like a rare pause—a moment of stillness in the middle of a fast-moving city. She didn’t know it would eventually become such a steady thread in her life.
Quarina began studying Iyengar Yoga in 2016, and in 2018, entered a mentorship with her teacher, Olop Arpipi. She has since completed her Level 1 certification and continues to study with deep respect for the method and its depth. Iyengar Yoga taught her structure and clarity, but more importantly, it taught her how to feel again—how to reconnect with both body and mind.
Before this path unfolded, Quarina worked in the financial industry. Burnout led her to explore other ways of being—through movement, meditation, breath, and eventually, the practice that helped her soften and build resilience at the same time.
Quarina now lives in Bali, continuing her learning journey—both on and off the mat.
