Anna Bogdanova, originally from Russia, is a renowned performance artist and contemporary dancer known as Kadek Anna. She has called Bali home for over 14 years, dedicating herself to mastering traditional Balinese dance. Anna’s artistry reflects a seamless blend of grace, strength, and heartfelt dedication, embodying the spirit of Bali in every movement.
A celebrated figure in the Balinese cultural scene, Anna has inspired local communities with her commitment to preserving and sharing traditional dance. She has performed on national television, danced for kings and sultans across the Indonesian archipelago, and appeared at international and local festivals. Her talent extends to acting, with roles in both local and Hollywood films. Beyond her professional achievements, Anna volunteers as a Balinese dance teacher, giving back to children and the differently-abled community in Bali.
Kadek Anna has been dancing at The Yoga Barn for as long as she has been in Bali.
