Anusara Yoga combines biomechanics, alignment principles, and an intelligent approach to individual anatomy to create a therapeutic, modern form of Hatha Yoga. Barbra discovered its life- affirming philosophy and elegant alignment principles as an effective way to heal injuries caused by her hypermobility and the physical demands of being a professional dancer.

You will learn how she used these techniques to manage intense hip injuries, develop strength and stability and eventually recover from hip surgery with full range of motion. As Barbra says, “Anusara Yoga is like embodied physiotherapy—but more graceful and fun.”

This workshop includes theory, simple anatomy, and practical exercises to support healthy hips
and achieve pelvic balance through optimal alignment.
