Yoga is more than movement—it’s a profound, living philosophy that has evolved over centuries. In this workshop, we’ll unravel the fascinating history of yoga—from the Vedas and Upaniṣads to Sāṅkhya, Pātañjala Yoga, and Vedānta—and see how these traditions shaped the way we practice today.
You’ll discover the key schools of thought, how they connect (or don’t!), and why understanding them can bring more depth and meaning to your yoga journey. Whether you're a teacher or a curious practitioner, this session will make ancient wisdom clear, engaging, and relevant to modern life. At the end of the session, together, we’ll chant a mantra to anchor the teachings in heart and breath. At the end, we will have a short guided Vedic chanting session to experience the power of sacred sound firsthand!
