Originally from Colombia and now based in Melbourne/Australia.
Cuerpo Negro is a music selector and DJ who started out
with the aim of sharing the vibrant rhythms of South
American Folktronica in Australia. Over time, the project has
expanded to incorporate a range of world electronica
elements, resulting in a sound that is both innovative and
eclectic.
Cuerpo Negro's sets are thoughtfully curated to take
listeners on a sonic journey, weaving together melodies,
tribal percussion, and hypnotic vocals into a seamless and
immersive musical experience. His sets focus on
progression, exploration, and experimentation.
